Dec 2nd heading to chaing Mai

I was up on the roof doing my laundry this morning and noticed this jovial lot.


I packed my bag for tonight stored it and went to find a haircut. I picked well this time at this nice salon.

It is starting to look like Christmas around here now, and look, if it isn't the Christmas rabbit.

The stores put up some large trees outside and some are playing American Christmas Carols.

I arrived at the train by Metro from the other side but went outside to see what it looked like. This is the main Bangkok station.



Inside the train was sparse but efficient. There were 40 people lined up in sleepers in this car. What a great way to travel. I had a wonderful sleep for a good part of the 14 hour trip.
