Back from the Jungle the second time....

I took the hour-long ride in from camp on my favourite buses arriving in Iquitos around 11:00 AM to face the never ending heat. I hopped in a moto-taxi and headed out to the airport to wait for my 2:00 flight to Lima which turned out to be a 5:00 flight. I was still under mild effects of the medicine from the night before and all I wanted to do was sit there.

After effects aside, the Sanango dieta that I experienced followed by three Ayahuasca ceremonies were amazing. The shamans at Blue Morpho are so experienced and talented.

Hamilton practices a variation of shamanism known as universality in which he helps the participants release negative spirits and move toward truth, light and love.

I arrived in Toronto at 9:00 this morning with a 10 hour layover so used the time to do e-mail and read. thus cushioning my re-entry.

Stone creation outside Terminal One in Toronto. Not sure if it qualifies as an Inukshuk.

Soon it will be time for the flight to Saskatoon.
