I took the hour-long ride in from camp on my favourite buses arriving in Iquitos around 11:00 AM to face the never ending heat. I hopped in a moto-taxi and headed out to the airport to wait for my 2:00 flight to Lima which turned out to be a 5:00 flight. I was still under mild effects of the medicine from the night before and all I wanted to do was sit there.
After effects aside, the Sanango dieta that I experienced followed by three Ayahuasca ceremonies were amazing.
